The contemporary artwork is a layered narrative reflecting Rainbow Beach and the southern end of Rainbow Beach, the Cooloola Section of the Great Sandy National Park exploring the natural environment. Rainbow Beach is situated in the Wide Bay-Burnett region, Queensland Australia. On 16^th August 2015 I had the opportunity to visit and explore the beach, community and trees that adorn the land, continually photographing my response to nature’s language. In April 2016 post production commenced and five digital montages became Lot 14 in the ‘PLACE identity’ series, igniting internal past dialogue within surroundings that were presented at each turn.
